Now in production form (debuted as a prototype at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show, production model shown at Boot Düsseldorf), not just a prototype — update from an earlier entry in this dataset. Parker GVM310 electric motor, 250-300kW, 150kWh lithium battery, cruises at 25 knots with a 40-knot top speed, up to 10 hours cruising in economy mode. Three drive modes (Allegro/Andante/Adagio). LENGTH DISCREPANCY: one source (mennyacht.com) describes this as a "27-meter vessel," which is almost certainly a unit error (should likely read 27 feet, ~8.2m) given the Riva Iseo class this is based on is normally in the 8-9m range — kept at 8.2m here rather than propagating what looks like a typo, but flagging for direct confirmation with Riva/Ferretti Group.

Our take

What a buyer should know

Who it suits

The El-Iseo is a statement purchase, and there is no point pretending otherwise. Riva's first all-electric boat takes the Iseo's runabout form and fits a Parker GVM310 motor rated at 250–300 kW with a 150 kWh battery, giving a 25-knot cruise, a 40-knot maximum and up to ten hours in economy mode across three drive modes. It suits an owner who wants the Riva name and silent running on a lake or a short coastal hop, and who already has the mooring, the charging and, in all likelihood, another boat. It suits nobody buying on cost-per-mile.

What the numbers mean

A 150 kWh pack behind a 300 kW motor is a genuinely capable pairing for 8.2 metres, and the ten-hour economy claim is credible precisely because it is quoted in economy mode rather than at cruise. The three drive modes are the mechanism by which one battery serves both a 40-knot sprint and a long slow evening.

Caveats worth stating plainly. Riva publishes no price for the El-Iseo, and buyers should expect a substantial premium over the petrol Iseo. Published length varies slightly between sources. Riva is also a combustion-first yard — this is its first electric model, not a specialism.

Written from the builder’s published specifications and the wider market, not from testing the boat ourselves. Always confirm figures with the manufacturer before committing.
